This gallery is composed of four basic categories.

The Seacapes & Landscapes section is made up of scenic shots of sunsets, sunrises, shoreline ocean views with crashing waves, sandy beaches, rocky lava beaches, mountains, rivers & streams, waterfalls, and rainforest. Hawaii is indeed a special place.

The Underwater section is predominately green sea turtles, known here as honu. I can just never seem to shoot enough of them. Here, you will also find some interesting creatures with even more interesting behavior.

Abstract & Artsy, what can I say? Some of these shots are close looks at the magnificent colors and lines found in nature - both above and below the ocean surface - and some are experiments in photography.

In the Little Things section, you will find images of some of natures little attractions. All shot with a macro lens but not all macro shots in the strictest sense of the term. So many adjectives here: beautiful, icky, different, cute, amazing, funny, and sweet to name a few. Maybe most interesting, is the fact that different people may use any of the terms to describe the same image.

The Island Magic DVD is a sampling of over 170 of my images from Hawaii complete with nice background music. It's an excellent way to enjoy some of the beauty of Maui between visits.
